Tales of fact
- Heritage House
Discover traditional rural society in the Landes region through two emblematic figures: the shepherd and the resin grower. Collections, filmed testimonies and animations provide a better understanding of these people and their interactions with their forest.
- Bouricos chapel
In the middle of a clearing, a 12th-century chapel houses a genuine contemporary art project. Look up and see Aurore, by Ladislas Combeuil, a work of light and shadow, full and empty, that invites contemplation. You’re out of time.
- Priory Museum
As you walk past, you won’t be able to resist a closer look. Imagine this site in the 13th century… An important Benedictine priory was built here. This bell tower-porch of the Sainte Marie church is the last vestige… colorful! Mural paintings, polychrome sculpted figures – one of the oldest representations of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela – capture the imagination with their liveliness.
