Cycle paths
In Mimizan, more than 40 km of cycle tracks and 10 kl of cycle and mountain bike routes are available to wander through the pine forest, along the Aureilhan lake, go to the beach, discover the villages of Aureilhan, Bias, Pontenx les Forges, St Paul en Born and their picturesque heritage or simply to go to the market.
The Vélodyssée route, a 1,200 km cycle route along the Atlantic coast from Roscoff to Hendaye, passes through Mimizan Plage and past accommodation with the Accueil Vélo label.

The cycling track map is priced €1 and is available from the Mimizan Intercommunal Tourist Office.
You can also receive the map by post on request for €1.
The "cyclists welcome" label
Cycling tourism is rapidly expanding. To meet the specific needs of cyclists visiting the region and to increase the number of our visitors, facilities for welcoming cyclists have been set up (an official label and a route logo). The Mimizan Intercommunal Tourist Office is delighted to be taking part in this dynamic.
